Mechanical Engineering Internship

Tasks: • Follow safety procedures and work in a manner which controls the risk of injury to themselves and to others • To assist with the supply, installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems • Safely install new electrical circuits, circuit breakers, isolators, control wires and electrical feeds (under supervision) • Safely install refrigeration linesets, drains and insulation (under supervision) • Safely use of power tools and hand tools required to install all components required to install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems • To be able to complete practical and theoretical requirements for the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems Requirements About You: • Present as fit for work, being in a good physical and mental condition so duties may be performed in a safe, efficient and productive manner • Demonstrate the highest standards of ethics, integrity and behaviour and contribute to a productive and harmonious environment • To work effectively and contribute to a positive team environment • Commitment to and capacity for professional development • Evidence of enrolment or completion of OH & S Safety (red/white) Card • Evidence of excellent academic performance • Manual Drivers License • Commitment to work 3 days per week for a 12 weeks period
