Equitas Small Finance Bank - Tester - Corporate Internet Banking Applications

Job Summary : We are seeking a Tester with strong hands-on experience in Digital Banking, specifically Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) applications. The role will validate business-critical corporate banking journeys, integrations and transaction flows through structured functional, system and integration testing. The tester will analyse requirements, create scenarios and test cases, execute end-to-end validations, raise high-quality defects and work closely with developers, business analysts and product teams through resolution. Good API-testing capability is required to validate service-layer behavior and integration outcomes. Candidates should understand digital banking channels and be able to test complex workflows with appropriate attention to data, authorization, transaction status and error handling. Key Responsibilities : - Analyse CIB requirements and prepare functional, SIT, regression and end-to-end test scenarios. - Execute testing across corporate internet banking journeys, transactions, user roles and integrations. - Perform API testing to validate service responses, business rules, data and downstream integrations. - Log, track and retest defects with clear evidence and impact assessment. - Support release validation, test reporting and collaboration across BA, development and business teams. Required Skills & Experience : - 4 - 8 years of software testing experience. - Strong hands-on experience in Digital Banking applications, including Corporate Internet Banking. - Good knowledge of API testing and integration validation. - Strong test-case design, defect-management and execution skills. - Understanding of banking transaction flows, user entitlements and channel behavior. Preferred / Added Advantage : - SQL/database validation experience and familiarity with JIRA or similar test/defect tools. - Exposure to automation testing in addition to strong manual/SIT capability.
