Summary of Role: As a Machine Learning Intern for Digital Manufacturing, you will be joining the Digital Manufacturing Group and get hands on experience developing and deploying AI, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions within the AI Integration Team. You will help support best practices for analytics use case development, deployment, scaling, and maintenance of AI/ML projects. Essential Responsibilities include: • Support the AI Integration Team in developing and deploying AI/ML models. • Analyse manufacturing data to develop features, insights, and predictive models. • Work with highly complex data for feature development using AI/ML models. • Collaborate with Digital Manufacturing MLEs, data scientists, and business stakeholders on AI-driven projects. • Learn and apply modern AI/ML technologies, software engineering practices, and MLOps concepts. Other Responsibilities: • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Required Qualifications: • Education – Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. • Familiarity with Python and common data science libraries. • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and model development. • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Must be in good academic standing. • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship. • Available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.
