Diesel Fitter

We want you: Experienced Diesel Fitter wanted to join our Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin. You will have previous experience working on heavy machinery within a mining environment. Preferred fleet experience includes Liebherr, Hitachi & Caterpillar excavators. This is a 7:7 Rostered opportunity due to start in June. With a proactive attitude towards safety and your ability to diagnose and repair heavy machinery, you will provide a high standard of service to our clients. This is a great opportunity to work with a company who appreciates their people and continues to demonstrate continued growth. This position can be FIFO from Brisbane or DIDO if local to Mackay. The successful applicant, will have: • Relevant Trade Qualification • Excavator experience essential • Experience working in a mining environment • Coal Board Medical • Standard 11 Statement of Attainment • BMA Core (Desirable) • Current Drivers Licence • Problem solving and decision-making skills • Great communication and interpersonal skills • Have the proven ability to liaise with both management and clients • Uncompromising attitude to safety • Ability to meet site requirements These are challenging roles that will deliver great rewards to the right candidates.
