We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Granville on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a hands-on engineering role within a manufacturing environment, providing an opportunity to work across production processes, machinery, equipment and continuous improvement initiatives. About the role : • Provide mechanical engineering support across manufacturing operations • Review and improve production processes, machinery and equipment • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality and safety • Assist with the design, modification and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment • Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues and develop practical solutions • Support the installation, commissioning and maintenance of plant and equipment • Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings and specifications • Work with production teams, suppliers and contractors on engineering requirements • Contribute to continuous improvement across the business About you To be successful in this position, you will have: • At least a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience • Strong mechanical engineering and problem-solving skills • Experience in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • A practical, hands-on and solutions-focused approach Experience within aluminium manufacturing, fabrication, building products or a similar production environment would be highly regarded.
