Facilities Maintenance Manager - Ormeau

About the Role We're looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the delivery of maintenance across infrastructure, facilities, plant and equipment at our QTMP Ormeau Maintenance Centre. This is a rare opportunity where you'll drive performance, reliability and safety across site operations, leading a high-performing team and supply chain to deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance while supporting critical infrastructure projects. What You'll Be Doing • Lead and manage all facilities and infrastructure maintenance activities across the Ormeau site and supporting locations • Deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the Technical Maintenance Plan • Oversee facility projects, including upgrades, installations and capital works • Drive Zero Harm outcomes, ensuring safe systems of work and strong HSE performance • Manage budgeting, cost control and resource planning for maintenance activities • Partner with Operations to ensure minimal disruption to production and service delivery • Lead, coach and develop the Facilities Maintenance team and contractors • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and external partners • Identify and implement continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability initiatives You will bring • Trade qualification and/or Engineering/Building degree (or equivalent experience) • Proven experience leading maintenance teams and contractors • Strong background in facilities, infrastructure or asset management • Experience managing budgets, cost control and performance outcomes Why Join Downer? • Work on a major national rail program (QTMP) shaping the future of transport • Be part of a high-performing, safety-focused team • Lead impactful infrastructure and facilities initiatives • Ongoing opportunities for career growth and development • Contribute to sustainable and innovative rail solutions Ready to Apply?
