Job Description

Location: Central (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Renewable basis)

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse production and non-production environments to ensure optimal system performance, availability, and reliability. Work with application teams, solution architects, security teams, and vendors to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Support the setup and operation of AWS environments for AI-related use cases. Manage application and security incidents, perform root cause analysis, coordinate resolution, and ensure compliance with SLA requirements.

Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and documentation to support audit and governance requirements. Manage day-to-day operational activities, analyse performance metrics, and provide status and progress reports to stakeholders and management.

Implement and maintain security controls, including privileged access management across test and production environments. Establish full-stack monitoring across application and infrastructure layers using APM and cloud-native monitoring tools.

Identify opportunities for process automation to reduce downtime and operational errors. Support 24/7 operations in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Requirements

Proven experience in IT Operations, Production Support, Cloud Operations, or a similar role. Experience with incident, problem, and change management, preferably using ITSM tools such as Zendesk, ServiceDesk, or similar platforms. Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, GCC, or other cloud environments.

Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools, including AWS CloudWatch or equivalent APM solutions.

Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible would be advantageous Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, information security, and operational best practices.
