System Engineer | AWS Working Hours: Mon-Fri (Hybrid) Location: Central Remuneration: Up to $10,000 + AWS We are seeking an Operations Support Engineer to manage and optimise cloud and infrastructure platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across environments.

This role involves hands-on system administration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting, working closely with engineering teams to maintain stable, scalable platforms and support continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure across environments Manage compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, and container platforms Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions Automate infrastructure using IaC tools (e. g.

, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) Administer AWS services and optimise performance and cost Ensure system reliability, availability, and scalability through SRE practices Perform patching, upgrades, and security hardening Maintain backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability setups Troubleshoot incidents and support application/engineering teams Document architectures, runbooks, and standard operating procedures Requirements Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience Strong Linux/Windows administration and networking fundamentals Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Node.
