Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Support Engineer to support the day-to-day operations, stability and reliability of enterprise applications and cloud environments. You will provide L3 code-level troubleshooting , working closely with developers, infrastructure teams, security teams and business users.
Working Hours
Mon-Fri Working Location: Central Job Type: Contract Salary Package: Up to $9000 (basic) + AWS Responsibilities Provide L1, L2 and L3 application support , including troubleshooting and minor code-level fixes. Monitor production and non-production environments to ensure system availability, performance and reliability.
Manage application, infrastructure and security incidents , ensuring timely resolution within SLA. Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with development, infrastructure, security and vendor teams. Support AWS/cloud environments , including environment setup, configuration and operational activities.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting using tools such as AWS CloudWatch and APM solutions. Support change, incident and problem management processes using ITSM tools. Manage system access and privileged access controls across test and production environments.
Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements to reduce manual effort and system downtime. Maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, service records and audit documentation. Prepare operational reports, system statistics and updates for stakeholders.
Support 24/7 production operations and coordinate with internal teams and vendors when required.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Good understanding of incident, problem and change management processes. Experience with monitoring/APM tools , such as AWS CloudWatch. Familiarity with ITSM/service management tools such as Zendesk, ServiceDesk or similar. Familiarity with automation or Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible .
