Head of Solutions Engineering, EMEA

We are seeking a Head of Solutions Engineering to lead and grow our technical pre-sales function across the EMEA region. You’ll define how we bring our AI services to customers - from the first discovery conversation to pilot, deployment, and production success. As the regional leader, you’ll hire, mentor, and scale a team of world-class Solutions Engineers & Solution Architects who partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering. You’ll set the standard for how we demonstrate technical value, architect customer solutions, and operationalize go-to-market excellence across diverse markets in EMEA. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role - part player-coach, part builder, and part visionary. You’ll balance tactical deal support with the long-term mission of building a scalable, high-impact GTM organization. What You’ll Do Partner with Sales and regional leadership to drive technical strategy, qualification, and execution for complex deals. Define and operationalize repeatable pre-sales processes, tools, and playbooks to accelerate customer success. Build and lead a world-class Solutions Engineering organization across EMEA — recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a distributed team. Lead the technical discovery, demo, and proof-of-concept lifecycle, ensuring pilots translate into production wins. Represent Scale’s platform and technology capabilities to executives, technical stakeholders, and partners. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to bring customer insights back into roadmap discussions and feature design. Develop regional enablement programs to ensure consistent technical excellence across the team. Drive key metrics: pilot-to-production conversion, team utilization, revenue influence, and customer adoption.
