Financial Accounting Associate

**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Accounting Associate.

**In this role, you will:** + Provide support for financial accounting related matters for lines of business and control functions + Review basic activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts, financial statements and regulatory reports + Gather financial data for financial and regulatory reports + Review data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to ensure accuracy + Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of financial control functions in accordance with the company's internal control policies + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals **Required Qualifications:** + 6+ months of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Financial Reporting, Accounting Reporting or Risk Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) with relevant experience in accounting, controllership, audit, or financial reporting.

+ Working knowledge of IFRS / Ind AS and financial control requirements. + Experience working with ERP systems and finance applications. + Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI and Alteryx. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results within tight timelines. + Experience in the banking or financial services industry. + High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. + Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
