Senior Test Analyst

Company Join a leading financial services organisation undergoing an important technology and compliance transformation. You'll be part of a collaborative project team delivering a new SaaS-based solution to support Consumer Data Right (CDR) compliance. This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile integration project alongside internal technology teams and external delivery partners. The Role We are seeking an experienced Manual Test Analyst with strong CDR and API testing experience to support the implementation and integration of a new platform. This is a contract role until the end of 2026. The role will have a strong focus on backend and API testing using Postman, identifying data gaps and integration issues, and working closely with technical stakeholders and vendors to ensure a successful delivery through SIT and UAT. Responsibilities • Perform hands-on API testing using Postman • Test CDR-related APIs, integrations and data flows • Validate backend data and identify gaps, inconsistencies and defects • Develop and execute test cases, scenarios and regression testing • Support integration testing, SIT and UAT • Troubleshoot API and backend issues and work through defects to resolution • Identify functional and non-functional issues • Work closely with the Project Manager, Solution Architect and third-party SaaS vendor • Collaborate with offshore technology teams to investigate and resolve technical issues • Ensure testing outcomes and defects are clearly documented and communicated • Support the delivery of the organisation's CDR compliance requirements Your Profile • Proven experience as a Manual Test Analyst / QA Analyst • Hands-on Consumer Data Right (CDR) testing experience - essential • Strong API testing and Postman experience • Experience testing backend data and identifying data discrepancies • Strong experience across integration testing, SIT and UAT • Experience within financial services, banking or lending • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Understanding of functional and non-functional testing requirements • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Confident working with vendors and offshore technology teams • A collaborative approach with the ability to challenge issues and drive them through to resolution Apply Today Please send your resume by clicking on the apply button or email Sam Rothery on sam.rothery@roberthalf.com.au Learn more about our Melbourne recruitment services: http://www.roberthalf.com.au/recruitment-agency-melbourne Job Reference No: 06810-0013492731SR By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
