CFO - 500 Cr Manufacturing Company Recommended KRA Structure CFO | 500 Cr Manufacturing Company Experience: 15-18 yrs of post qualification. Age group: 45-50, CTC: 45-50 Lacs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Profitability & EBITDA Management: - Drive improvement in gross margin, EBITDA and PBT through pricing, product mix, cost optimization and productivity. - EBITDA margin improvement by 12%; PBT growth. 2. Working Capital Management: - Control receivables, inventory and payables; improve cash conversion cycle. - Reduce DSO by 510 days; inventory reduction by 510%; CCC improvement. 3. Cash Flow & Treasury: - Ensure adequate liquidity, cash forecasting, banking and funding. - Positive operating cash flow; 13-week cash-flow forecast; optimise interest cost. 4. Cost Management: - Establish product-wise/plant-wise cost visibility; monitor material, labour, power, scrap and overhead costs. - 35% controllable cost reduction annually. 5. Budgeting & Business Planning: - Annual budget, rolling forecast, monthly variance analysis and corrective actions. - Budget accuracy within 5%; monthly review by 7th10th. 6. Plant & Manufacturing Finance: - Monitor plant profitability, capacity utilisation, yield, scrap, production variance and manufacturing overhead absorption. - Improve contribution/margin; reduce conversion cost and scrap. 7. Capex & Investment Management: - Evaluate business cases, ROI/IRR, payback, capex control and post-investment review. - 100% major capex with financial appraisal; capex within 5% of approved budget. 8. Banking & Financing: - Manage banks, working-capital limits, term loans, LC/BG, interest rates and financing structure. - Reduce borrowing/interest cost; maintain adequate liquidity. 9. Financial Reporting & MIS: - Provide accurate, timely and decision-oriented financial MIS to MD/Board. - Monthly MIS by 7th10th; zero material reporting errors. 10. Statutory Compliance & Governance: - GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, audits, ROC, statutory accounts and other regulatory requirements. - Zero major compliance observations/penalties. 11. Internal Controls & Risk Management: - Strengthen controls over procurement, inventory, sales, payments, receivables and delegation of authority. - Zero major control failures; closure of audit observations within agreed timelines. 12. Commercial Finance: - Support pricing, customer profitability, credit terms, tender/project costing and commercial negotiations. - Improve customer/product contribution; tighter credit discipline. 13. Tax Planning: - Ensure tax efficiency while maintaining full compliance; evaluate incentives applicable to manufacturing. - Optimise effective tax rate; zero major tax disputes arising from non-compliance. 14. ERP / Finance Digitization: - Improve automation, dashboards, financial analytics and ERP controls. - Reduce manual reporting; improve MIS turnaround and data accuracy. 15. Strategic Business Partnering: - Support MD/CEO in expansion, new products, pricing, M&A/JV opportunities and business strategy. - Financial evaluation of 100% strategic proposals. 16.
