Accounting Technician

Accounting Technician — South Shore of Montreal Our client, a well-established company located on Montreal's South Shore, is looking for an Accounting Technician to join their finance team. The Role Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the complete accounting cycle and will contribute to the smooth running of the company's financial operations. Your Responsibilities • Perform full bookkeeping (accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations) • Prepare journal entries and month-end adjustments • Participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements • Monitor fixed assets and Depreciation • Assist in the preparation of tax returns (GST/QST) • Collaborate with the team in preparing the year-end file for external auditors • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes Desired Profile • DEC in Accounting or Business Administration, Accounting Option • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Knowledge of accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Acomba, etc.) • Rigorous, organized, and detail-oriented • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset What our client Job Offer Permanent, full-time position Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Stable work environment, team spirit Close to the REM (Réseau express métropolitain)
