Benefits Specialist

American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources department.

The primary function of this position is to deliver high-level customer service and perform and maintain the day-to-day administrative functions for the Company's benefits programs, including but not limited to health and welfare plans, 401k, tuition and athletic event reimbursement and wellness programs.

Salary Range American Specialty Health complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $48,000. 00 to $65,000. 00 Full-Time Annual Salary range.

Remote Worker Guidelines Remote Worker Guidelines: This position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home (WFH) in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment.

This WFH position requires you have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network. The internet connection must have a consistent 50 down/10 up Mbps minimum internet speed.

100 down/20 up is recommended to support higher quality video meetings.

Assists with Maintaining the Employee Benefit Programs. Prepares and distributes weekly benefit emails to new hires via Benefits Prime in a timely manner and maintains excel tracking spreadsheet, meeting with new hires to review benefits as needed.

Keeps manager informed of urgent issues to allow upward communication and/or elevation to a higher level. Recognizes unique and/or problem situations within assigned area of responsibility. Researches, and formulates solutions in conjunction with Benefits Manager. Assists Sr.
