Job Description

Senior Regional Human Resources Manager – Logistics Charterhouse are looking for a newly created Senior Human Resources Manager for a global Logistics firm as they realign their HR function – They will need to have previous experience of managing HR within the same industry. Reporting to the APAC Head of HR, this role will oversee the operational and strategic HR across the region whilst managing the HR team members. This person will need to be able to assess and make changes where needed to meet the needs of the business. Responsibilities • Lead a team of HR professionals and strengthen HR capability across assigned sites through coaching, prioritization, and capability development • Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to deliver consistent, high-quality HR services and programs across assigned locations • Serve as the senior HR Business Partner to operations and site leadership teams, shaping workforce strategy and strengthening organizational effectiveness • Lead the execution of HR strategies aligned to commercial priorities, spanning workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, and organizational development • Engage regularly with leadership teams on workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, performance matters, and organizational priorities • Coach managers and leaders on people leadership, performance improvement, talent development, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness • Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on employee relations, organizational design, performance management, and complex change initiatives • Ensure robust governance across company policies, employment legislation, and regulatory obligations while mitigating organizational risk • Partner with the business on growth initiatives, customer implementations, and organizational transitions by developing scalable workforce plans and people strategies • Apply senior-level business judgment and HR expertise to balance employee needs with business priorities in a fast-paced operational environment • Design forward-looking workforce solutions and engagement strategies to address staffing, retention, productivity, and performance priorities • Leverage workforce analytics and staffing insights to anticipate trends, optimize workforce investment, and enhance operational performance • Interpret and advise on complex matters involving employee relations, organizational change, workforce planning, and compliance risk • Navigate both structured and ambiguous business challenges, exercising independent judgment and cross-functional collaborator to deliver effective outcomes • Continuously assess HR processes and programs, recommending enhancements that elevate employee experience and operational effectiveness • Build trusted partnerships with site leaders, functional heads, operations managers, HR teams, corporate HR, legal counsel, staffing partners, and employees • Influence business decisions through data-led insights, strategic HR expertise, and commercially grounded recommendations • Manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, including employee concerns, investigations, disciplinary actions, and organizational change discussions • Cultivate collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization to drive alignment and effective execution of HR priorities • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance leadership to direct reports and HR team members • Drive capability-building initiatives that strengthen employee effectiveness, leadership readiness, and organizational performance • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, inclusion, and sustained employee engagement Attributes • Proven HR Leadership experience within the logistics industry • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field • Experience in leading and managing regional Human Resources teams.
