Video Editor

Job Title: Video Editor We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will craft engaging video content for digital platforms, broadcast, and marketing campaigns.

This role requires strong editorial judgment, technical proficiency with industry-standard editing and color tools, and the ability to collaborate with producers, motion designers, and audio engineers to deliver polished final assets on deadline.

Responsibilities

Assemble raw footage into compelling, coherent stories that align with creative briefs and brand guidelines. Edit long- and short-form videos for social, web, and broadcast, including promotional, educational, and documentary-style content.

Create and integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and animated elements in collaboration with the design team. Perform color grading and color correction to achieve consistent, broadcast-ready imagery. Mix and clean audio tracks; integrate sound design and music to enhance storytelling.

Prepare deliverables in required codecs, aspect ratios, and file specifications; manage transcoding and encoding workflows. Maintain organized project files, proxies, and archives; enforce version control and naming conventions.

Collaborate with producers and stakeholders to implement feedback and iterate quickly while maintaining quality. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or equivalent professional experience preferred. 3+ years of professional video editing experience, with a demonstrable reel of recent work.

Proficiency in major NLEs and post-production toolchains; strong technical understanding of codecs, frame rates, and delivery standards. Solid foundation in storytelling, pacing, and visual composition. Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and implement creative direction.

Experience delivering content for multiple platforms including social media, web, and broadcast. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize workflows for efficiency.
