JD Business Analyst CBS / Oracle FLEXCUBE Location: Chennai Experience: 6 - 8 years Domain: Banking / Core Banking Role: Business Analyst CBS (Oracle FLEXCUBE) Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong functional knowledge of Core Banking Systems (CBS), preferably Oracle FLEXCUBE. The candidate will work closely with business, technology, operations and vendor teams to gather requirements, analyse banking processes and support implementation/enhancement of CBS applications. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements for CBS/FLEXCUBE applications. - Work closely with business users, operations, IT/application teams and vendors to translate business requirements into functional specifications. - Analyse existing banking processes and identify functional gaps and enhancement requirements. - Work on Oracle FLEXCUBE implementation, enhancement, integration or change requests. - Prepare BRD, FRD/FSD, process flows, use cases and other functional documentation. - Coordinate and support SIT and UAT, including test scenarios, defect tracking and closure. - Support requirement clarification between business and development/technical teams. - Understand CBS interfaces and integrations with downstream/upstream banking applications. - Support production issues, change requests and application enhancements from a functional perspective. - Ensure solutions are aligned with banking processes and regulatory/business requirements. Required Skills: - 6 - 8 years of overall experience as a Business Analyst/Functional Consultant in the banking domain. - Strong experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE / FLEXCUBE Universal Banking (FCUBS). - Good understanding of Core Banking Systems (CBS) and banking processes. - Knowledge of banking products such as CASA/accounts, deposits, loans, payments, customer management and transaction processing. - Experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis and functional documentation. - Experience preparing BRD, FRD/FSD, user stories and process flows. - Strong experience with UAT/SIT, test cases and defect management. - Good stakeholder management and communication skills. - Basic understanding of SQL, APIs and system integrations would be advantageous. Preferred: - Experience working directly with a bank/NBFC or on core banking transformation/implementation projects. - Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE integrations or version upgrades/migrations. - Understanding of Indian banking processes and regulatory requirements.
