Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced HR Leader to lead India HR Operations, Plant HR, Performance Management, HR Technology, and Employee Engagement across a multi-location manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on HR professional who can effectively manage both manufacturing workforce dynamics and corporate HR requirements, while building scalable processes, driving operational excellence, and strengthening employee experience. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to Plant HR, Manufacturing Operations, HRMS, PMS, Employee Relations, and Workforce Engagement with the ability to convert HR strategy into measurable execution. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Operations & Plant HR Leadership: - Lead end-to-end HR operations across multiple manufacturing locations and corporate office. - Manage HR delivery for a large workforce comprising blue-collar and white-collar employees. - Drive HR governance, compliance, employee relations, and workforce processes. - Partner with plant HR teams and business leaders to ensure consistent HR practices. 2. Performance Management & Talent Processes: - Own the complete PMS lifecycle including goal setting, reviews, calibration, and closure. - Drive performance culture and ensure effective adoption across functions. - Enable data-driven HR decisions through accurate workforce insights. 3. HRMS & Digital HR Transformation: - Own HRMS administration, data accuracy, reporting, and process improvements. - Drive automation and digital adoption across HR processes. - Identify opportunities to improve employee self-service and HR efficiency. 4. Employee Engagement & Culture: - Build and execute engagement initiatives across plants and HQ. - Improve employee communication, retention, and workplace culture. - Identify root causes impacting employee experience and implement sustainable solutions. 5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management: - Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership teams. - Drive initiatives from planning to execution with strong ownership. - Provide insights, recommendations, and timely escalation of critical issues. Ideal Candidate Profile: - 10- 14 years of progressive HR experience with strong Manufacturing / Plant HR exposure. - Experience managing both blue-collar and white-collar workforce. - Hands-on experience in HR Operations, Performance Management Systems (PMS), HRMS implementation & administration, Employee Engagement & Retention initiatives, and Industrial Relations & Compliance. - Strong execution mindset with the ability to build processes and drive outcomes. - Comfortable working in a multi-location, fast-growing organization. - Willingness to travel across manufacturing locations. Preferred Industry Background: - FMCG / Food Processing, Agri Processing, Manufacturing, Export Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Large-scale Industrial Organizations.
