Job Description

About the Role: We're hiring for a fast-growing, advanced materials manufacturing company building next-gen industrial materials for sectors like mobility, infrastructure, and clean tech. The company is scaling fast - team doubling this year - and is looking for someone to build its entire HR function from the ground up, working directly with the founders. This is a hands-on leadership role where the successful candidate will work directly with the founders and build the HR function while supporting a fast-growing manufacturing business. What You'll Do: - Own end-to-end HR operations across their plant and office, including industrial relations, employee relations, labour law compliance, and factory safety practices. - Build foundational HR infrastructure from the ground up - leave policy, SOPs, compliance frameworks, etc. - Design and implement career growth frameworks for every employee, with clear 1-5 year growth pathways tied to both individual and company goals. - Define and drive the organization's HR vision, mission, and people principles as they scale. - Lead hiring and workforce planning as the team grows from 25 to 40+ in the near term, and continues scaling. - Experience managing both white-collar and blue-collar workforces in a manufacturing environment, including engineers, plant employees, and contract labour. - Manage compensation structures, including ESOP administration, ensuring the team is well compensated and incentivized. - Partner directly with founders/leadership as a strategic HR business partner, not just an operational function. What We're Looking For: - 10+ years of HR experience working in fast-moving automotive components, electric vehicles, industrial hardware, or deep-tech manufacturing environments with strong grounding in factory HR operations, industrial relations, and labour compliance. - Prior experience at a larger manufacturing organization is essential; candidates from FMCG or general corporate HR backgrounds without factory-floor exposure won't be the right fit. - Some experience in a startup or fast-scaling environment is a strong plus - you should be equally comfortable with structure and with building from zero. - Demonstrated ability to build HR frameworks, policies, and culture from scratch. - Comfortable being based in Faridabad and commuting regularly to Gurgaon. - High ownership, hands-on operating style, and comfort with ambiguity.
