About the team The Usage Platform team delivers low-latency, usage-based billing for companies offering AI-driven services. We own the infrastructure that makes this possible at scale, including usage ingestion and aggregation, replay handling, and alerting. What you'll do As the engineering manager for Usage Platform, you'll own the operational and technical direction of systems that handle high-throughput live traffic at scale, and you'll shape the team as it expands to support new use cases. You'll work closely with internal and external customers to build billing solutions that meet real-world needs. Responsibilities Lead a team responsible for usage ingestion, aggregation, replay handling, and alerting systems Own the technical strategy and roadmap for low-latency, usage-based billing infrastructure Drive operational excellence across billing infrastructure systems Hire and develop engineers as the team expands into new scope Partner with stakeholders across organizations to deliver billing solutions Work backwards from internal and external customer needs to define priorities and scope Define and uphold engineering standards across a team owning business-critical billing infrastructure</l
