Cargill - Specialist - Marketing - Transition Animal Nutrition Category

Job Purpose and Impact: The Specialist - Transition Animal Nutrition will be aligned to Cargills Animal Nutrition and Health business in India. You will execute the marketing strategy and annual plans for the assigned products in the Transition Animal Nutrition category in the Dairy Feed business. In this role, you will apply general knowledge of the business, market, customer drivers and product offerings to create customer driven marketing initiatives that accomplish business and financial goals. Key Accountabilities: - Plan and execute the marketing strategy and annual plans for the assigned product portfolio incorporating brands and customer segments as relevant and in alignment with broader business objectives. - Execute new products, services or solutions launches as measured by key performance indicators, collaborating across commercial and technical functions to optimize customer engagement and demand. - To formulate nutritionally balanced feed for Transition Animal Nutrition as per emerging market trends and customer need. - Partner with commercial teams to execute comprehensive product promotional programs, campaigns and other marketing activities in alignment with budgets and relevant competitive, customer and market dynamics. - Collaborate with cross functional teams to support the health and the growth of product portfolio by contributing to innovation, new product development, co-creation of customer solutions and product commercialization initiatives. - Improve customer experience for the assigned product and support the development and activities for differentiated customer value propositions. - Deliver relevant marketing trainings, events and collateral for the assigned products. - Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate team. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Masters in Animal Nutrition. - Other minimum qualifications may apply. Preferred Qualifications: - At least 5 years of technical marketing experience in the Dairy Nutrition category within the Dairy Feed segment. - Strong experience in product portfolio management, launching new products and developing advertising campaigns in the above categories. - Technical sales experience in Dairy Nutrition is an added advantage. - Experience in dairy farm management/dairy feed formulation management. - Exposure to ration formulation and nutritional planning for Dairy Nutrition. - Understanding of ruminant digestive physiology - Familiarity with animal diet management. - Ability to interpret milk records, growth data, and health indicators. - Experience with mobility scoring, feed efficiency, and welfare assessments.
