Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Industrial IoT & Digital Manufacturing Location: Ahmedabad About the Opportunity: We are looking for a commercially driven chief executive officer to lead the next phase of growth for a profitable and rapidly expanding Industrial IoT company. The organisation has a proven product, an established customer base, and strong market validation. The CEO will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth, expanding into global markets, building a high-performing leadership team, driving operational excellence, and preparing the business for Series A and subsequent growth. This role is best suited for an experienced business leader who has successfully scaled Industrial IoT, predictive maintenance, smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or industrial AI businesses with full P&L ownership. Key Responsibilities: Business Growth & Revenue: - Define and execute the company's growth strategy across India and international markets. - Expand existing enterprise accounts while acquiring new customers across manufacturing, process industries, utilities, and infrastructure. - Drive growth across key geographies including India, South East Asia, the Middle East, and North America. - Build strategic go-to-market plans and strengthen enterprise sales capabilities. Business Leadership & Organisation Building: - Scale the organisation by building strong leadership, sales, delivery, customer success, and operations teams. - Develop a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer success, and execution excellence. - Mentor senior leaders and establish a scalable organisational structure. P&L Ownership: - Own complete business performance, including revenue, profitability, cash flow, forecasting, and strategic planning. - Drive sustainable EBITDA and long-term shareholder value. - Build predictable operating processes and performance metrics. Fundraising & Investor Engagement: - Partner with founders and the Board to lead Series A fundraising. - Build compelling investor narratives, manage due diligence, and maintain investor relationships. - Prepare the organisation for future funding rounds and strategic expansion. Strategic Partnerships: - Establish strategic partnerships with OEMs, system integrators, technology providers, and channel partners. - Develop ecosystem alliances that accelerate market penetration while optimising operating costs. Market Expansion: - Identify new industry segments and growth opportunities. - Drive expansion into sectors such as cement, Steel, Metals, Automotive, Pharma, FMCG, chemicals, Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, Water Utilities, and process manufacturing. Ideal Candidate Profile: We are seeking a business leader who combines commercial excellence with deep Industrial IoT domain expertise. Mandatory Experience: - 15+ years of leadership experience, including 5+ years in Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, Predictive Maintenance, Industrial Automation, smart manufacturing, or Industrial AI. - Proven experience leading a business unit, division, or company with end-to-end P&L responsibility. - Strong enterprise sales background with demonstrated success in scaling revenue across large industrial customers. - Experience working with manufacturing industries such as Cement, Steel, Automotive, FMCG, Chemicals, Pharma, Power, Utilities, or Process Industries. - Strong understanding of Industrial IoT technologies, including sensors, edge devices, condition monitoring, cloud platforms, analytics, AI/ML, and predictive maintenance solutions. - Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing teams within growth-stage organisations. - Experience working with boards, investors, and executive leadership teams. Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline). - MBA from a reputed institution is preferred.
