About the Opportunity Are you an experienced Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of customer experience, digital technology, and business strategy? We are looking for a Senior Digital Business Analyst to join a dynamic Consumer team within a leading Telecommunications & Technology business in Melbourne CBD. In this pivotal contract role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, delivering key digital projects that transform how our consumer base interacts with our services. Key Responsibilities • Requirement Elicitation & Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Technology and business units to gather, validate, and prioritise complex business and technical requirements. • Process Mapping & Optimisation: Document current-state ( as-is ) and future-state ( to-be ) processes, driving continuous improvement and ensuring technical solutions directly address operational pain points. • Cross-Team Alignment: Work closely with Solution Architects, Engineers, and Project Managers to align overarching business needs with cutting-edge technical solutions. • Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate engaging workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs to uncover core business needs and customer pain points. • Documentation & Artifact Management: Maintain detailed, high-quality documentation and version control for all requirements, processes, and analysis outputs. What You'll Bring • 6+ Years of Digital BA Experience: Proven track record delivering digital initiatives, backed by a strong foundation in UI/UX principles and design systems. • Digital Tech Exposure: Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) and Content Management Systems (e.g., Drupal, AEM). • Agile & Requirements Expertise: Expert skills in user story mapping, persona-based requirement gathering, and process documentation. Familiarity with standard BABOK tools and exposure to AI-assisted BA tools . • Domain Knowledge: Experience in Telecommunications, Power, Gas, or Electricity sectors is strongly preferred. • Stakeholder Mastery: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with a proven ability to build trust across both business and technical teams. • Adaptability: Confidence operating at both strategic and operational levels, with the resilience to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities effectively.
