PMI is seeking an Event Planner (Level II) to join its Global Events and Meetings (GEM) Team. In this role, you’ll plan and execute events and meetings from concept through post-event closeout, serving as a trusted partner to business owners and leading cross-functional planning efforts.

You’ll operate confidently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, balancing experience, budget, and business needs while delivering high-quality events that connect and inspire PMI’s global community.

What you’ll bring to the role: This end-to-end event planning and execution role includes: Lead the planning and execution of in-person or virtual meetings and events, including post-event reporting, reconciliation, and lessons learned.

Serve as the central point of accountability for assigned events, including timelines, risks, dependencies, and decision tracking. Lead core planning calls with cross-functional stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams. Partner with business owners to develop detailed event plans, budgets, and delivery approaches.

Manage budgets in accordance with policy guidelines, including invoice reconciliation and post-event financial recaps. Source, negotiate, and coordinate with venues, audiovisual providers, decorators, and other key vendors. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure event success.

Execute events onsite with a strong focus on attendee experience, service excellence, and issue resolution. Strong event risk mitigation planning. Ensure seamless on-site execution with a focus on customer satisfaction and attendee experience.
