Director MEGS, Japan, AWS

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced industry leader to serve as the Director of Media, Entertainment, Games & Sports (MEGS) for Japan.

This is a critical general management role that sits - 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in media, entertainment, gaming, or sports industries - Experience in senior leadership roles (Director level or above) with direct P&L ownership and team management responsibility - Demonstrated track record of building and scaling businesses, achieving revenue targets, and managing complex enterprise sales cycles - Deep understanding of the Japanese market landscape for MEGS, including key players, industry dynamics, regulatory environment, and cultural business norms - Experience leading end-to-end digital transformation programs or cloud adoption initiatives within enterprise organizations - Business-level fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) and professional proficiency in English
