Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical *Nights/7p*

Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work in a Medical/Surgical Unit. 123-bed, Acute Care Hospital searching for RNs to work on the Medical/Surgical Unit, providing healthcare to Adults and Geriatrics. Patient Ratio 1:6.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 3 years of recent Medical/Surgical - Telemetry experience Previous charge experience preferred Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics Patient Diagnoses: Acute Kidney injuries, Renal Failure, Pneumonia, Total Joint, Orthopedics, Cellulitis, Rule out chest pains, Stress test, Cath Lab and Post-Op Bariatric.

Cardiac Monitoring/Emergency Response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry-on the unit monitoring, Telemetry-remote monitoring, and use of rapid response teams. Cardiovascular: Post Angiogram and Post MI.

Endocrine: Thyroidectomy Gastrointestinal: Bariatric Surgery, Bowel obstruction, Colostomy Care, and Feeding tube care/management. Genitourinary/Renal: Continuous Bladder irrigation, Pre/Post Hemodialysis management, and Renal Failure.

IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports, Blood product administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line care/management, PICC line management, and Starting Ivs. Medication: Heparin, Insulin, and PCA.

Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal Cord injuries, Substance withdrawal, and Traumatic brain injury.

Orthopedics: Ortho trauma Plastics: Surgical drains Respiratory: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP, BiPAP, High flow nasal cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre/Post thoracic surgery, and Tracheostomy management.

Facility uses 4 computer systems. As a traveler, you are not required to have experience, just be open to learning new systems.
