Job Description

Who are we? Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems. We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems.

We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that. We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers.

Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft. We are a global technology company co-headquartered in Toronto and San Francisco, with key offices in London, New York City, Montreal, Seoul, Germany and Paris. Join us! Why This Role?

We’re hiring a People Business Partner to help scale Cohere through a major phase of growth. This is not a traditional “policy and process” HRBP role.

We’re looking for commercially minded People partners who want to work closely with leaders and teams to help build high-performing organisations inside one of the world’s leading AI companies. Cohere is scaling quickly across a globally distributed environment with both remote employees and physical offices.

We need PBPs who are energised by ambiguity, growth, and helping leaders operate more effectively as the company scales. You’ll partner closely with leaders across different functions on organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, performance, talent strategy, and team health during a period of intense scale.

We’re still evolving parts of our People infrastructure and operating model, so this is a strong fit for someone who enjoys building, improving processes, and operating in environments where not everything is fully mature yet.

You’ll thrive here if you: Enjoy partnership — building strong relationships with leaders and teams Operate with o
