We're hiring a Regional Director, Field Engineering to build and lead a high-impact pre-sales Field Engineering team within one of our key industry verticals: High Tech, Retail, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Public Sector, Aerospace, or Healthcare.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering and is responsible for ensuring our technical pre-sales motion scales with quality, speed, and credibility inside a specific vertical.

As the Regional Director, Field Engineering, you'll manage and develop Field Engineers who partner closely with AEs to run technical discovery, demos, and proofs of concept with the largest and most complex accounts in your vertical.

You'll also stay close to customers and deals yourself, coaching in real time, unblocking complex evaluations, and ensuring Cursor is positioned as the best AI-native development platform for your industry.

This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial leadership role for someone who combines deep vertical expertise, technical fluency, strong people management, and the drive to build something from scratch.
