BIT (formerly Matrixport) is a global digital asset financial services and infrastructure group. The firm manages over US$7 billion in assets and facilitates more than US$7 billion in monthly trading volume. BIT offers services including custody, trading, asset and wealth management, liquidity and financing solutions, and tokenised real-world assets (RWA), serving institutional and professional investors globally. BIT Group entities maintain a licensed and regulated footprint across Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States and Bhutan. For more information, visit www.bit.com Why Join Us: At BIT, we tackle complex problems as a team. We encourage openness and promote transparency, respect, and inclusivity. Every team member is valued and has a voice that can be heard. We are always in search of intellectually curious and entrepreneurial individuals who are keen on making an impact in the crypto ecosystem and in building a better product for the next one billion users. Job Responsibilities: • Card transaction flow and funds processing: Lead the build-out of the core Visa / Mastercard issuing transaction flow, owning end-to-end product design for Authorization, Incremental Authorization, Reversal, Capture/Clearing, Force Post, refunds, and reconciliation, clearing, and settlement. • Card lifecycle and benefits programs: Own full lifecycle management for virtual and physical cards (issuance, activation, freeze/unfreeze, lost/stolen replacement, cancellation, etc.), and plan and build the card product tier structure and the loyalty and benefits program (cashback, rewards points). • Crypto Card funds and account architecture: Design the account architecture and funds flow model for crypto cards, including wallet pre-debit and real-time conversion-and-debit, Auth Hold Buffer, and mechanisms to prevent negative balances at clearing. • Issuing risk and limits framework: Plan the issuer-side static/dynamic limit matrix (by KYC level, card type, and transaction frequency), and define real-time authorization blocking strategies and 3DS (ACS) authentication rules, balancing approval rates against fraud control. • BIN Sponsor and card network compliance: Manage relationships with major card networks and BIN Sponsors (Card Program Manager model), and implement network fraud rate monitoring, TC40 / SAFE fraud reporting, and chargeback dispute compliance management. • Cross-functional collaboration and ecosystem delivery: Work with Compliance, Risk, Treasury, and Engineering teams to deliver complex product solutions, and manage integrations and system iterations with Card Processors (CaaS), card manufacturers, and external financial partners. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or above, with 3+ years of product management experience in issuer-side card systems, digital banking, or fintech virtual card products. • A complete issuer-side business perspective, having led the planning and delivery of core transaction, account, or lifecycle modules for virtual or physical cards. • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the self-drive to push forward complex, multi‑party projects spanning funds, compliance, risk, and engineering. • Transaction and clearing/settlement flows: Expert knowledge of the end-to-end Visa / Mastercard transaction lifecycle and ISO 8583 messaging; familiar with handling logic for exception scenarios such as authorization, incremental authorization, capture, force post, and reversal. • Account model and funds flow design: Deep understanding of bank card account structures and the underlying logic of clearing and settlement; knowledge of Crypto Card funding models (multi‑currency wallets, real‑time fiat debit/pre‑funding, and FX slippage protection at clearing). • Lifecycle and benefits design: Familiar with designing the full card issuing lifecycle, with experience planning card benefits programs (e.g., cashback and rebates, merchant‑targeted offers, and integration of card network benefits). • Issuing risk and compliance: Familiar with issuer‑side static limits and real‑time risk blocking mechanisms; deep understanding of card network compliance red lines, and familiarity with Visa / Mastercard TC40 / SAFE fraud reporting and Fraud-to-Sales Ratio management. • BIN Sponsor operating model: Familiar with BIN Sponsor partnership arrangements with major card networks, the Card Program Manager (CPM) business model, and integration with issuer processor (Issuer Processor / CaaS) systems. Preferred: • Core card product experience at a well‑known virtual card or fintech issuing platform (e.g., Revolut, Wise, RedotPay, YouBiz, Reap, Rain). • Card business background at a traditional bank card center (e.g., HSBC, Standard Chartered) or a licensed digital bank (e.g., ZA Bank, MariBank). • Full 0-to-1 experience launching a co‑branded Crypto Card or crypto on/off-ramp product. • Familiarity with integration architectures of issuer processing platforms (e.g., Marqeta, Nium, Thredd), or expertise in card network chargeback systems (VROL / Mastercard Connect).
