Senior Data Scientist Experience: 10 - 12 Years Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for experienced Data Scientists with strong expertise in Python, Machine Learning, Statistical Modelling, SQL and Predictive Analytics. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise and business understanding, with the ability to analyse complex datasets, develop analytical models and translate data-driven insights into actionable business recommendations. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business challenges, identify opportunities through data analysis and develop effective machine learning and predictive modelling solutions. Key Responsibilities: Technical Responsibilities: - Develop, implement and optimise machine learning models to solve business problems. - Perform statistical analysis, predictive modelling and forecasting. - Use Python for data analysis, model development and implementation. - Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate and analyse large datasets. - Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, exploratory data analysis and feature engineering. - Evaluate model performance, validate results and improve model accuracy. - Apply appropriate machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques. - Interpret complex datasets to identify patterns, trends and correlations. Business & Analytical Responsibilities: - Understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify analytical opportunities. - Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. - Present analytical findings and model outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Work with cross-functional teams to deliver business-focused analytical solutions. - Identify business trends, opportunities and potential risks through predictive analytics. - Ensure analytical solutions align with business objectives and expected outcomes. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics or Machine Learning. - Strong hands-on expertise in Python programming. - Good understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and methodologies. - Strong knowledge of Statistics and Statistical Modelling. - Hands-on experience with SQL and database querying. - Experience in Predictive Analytics and Model Development. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively. - Experience engaging with business stakeholders and technical teams. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Skills: - Exposure to TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn. - Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP. - Understanding of model deployment and MLOps practices.
