Senior Full Stack Developer (.Net Technology Stack)

Your Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in the Microsoft .NET technology stack for a hybrid role in downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience building multi‑tier applications in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and webforms, along with exposure to Java or Python. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust solutions, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality, secure, and scalable software. Roles and responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain multi‑tier web applications using .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Webforms). • Implement and integrate front‑end, back‑end, and database components, ensuring optimal performance and security. • Create and consume RESTful APIs to support integration with external services and partner systems. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Backend, QA, DevOps) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that align with business requirements. • Develop and optimize queries, stored procedures, and triggers in relational databases (e.g., Sybase, SQL Server). • Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and system efficiency. • Leverage Java or Python to facilitate specialized tasks, integrations, or microservices as needed. • Adhere to professional software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, and source code management. • Conduct performance profiling and implement optimizations at both the code and database levels. • Produce technical documentation such as system architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides. Your experience and education • Strong programming experience in multi‑tier applications based on Microsoft .NET technology stack including C#, VB.NET, MVC, Webforms, Web Services, REST API's • Experience developing in Java and/or Python • Experience with relational database programming (e.g. Sybase, SQL Server) • Experience working within professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes and testing • Experience with .NET based server‑side technologies and creating/consuming from a REST backend.
