Company: OfBusiness Business Unit: Bag Manufacturing Location: Manesar, Haryana About the Role: OfBusiness is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to join our growing Bag Manufacturing business. We are seeking a highly driven professional with strong experience in end-to-end manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and blue-collar workforce management, with a strong focus on quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day production. - Manage supply chain operations, including material planning, procurement coordination, inventory, vendor management, and timely availability of raw materials. - Drive quality control and quality assurance across production processes, ensuring products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. - Ensure timely production and delivery of orders while maintaining optimal productivity and operational efficiency. - Drive cost optimization by identifying opportunities to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and achieve better pricing across materials, vendors, and operations. - Manage large blue-collar workforces, including manpower planning, productivity, attendance, discipline, and workforce engagement. - Monitor key operational metrics such as production output, quality, wastage, cost, productivity, inventory, and on-time delivery. - Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements and scalable solutions to enhance efficiency. - Work closely with vendors, suppliers, production, quality, sourcing, and business teams to ensure seamless end-to-end execution. - Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment across functions to meet business targets. Eligibility Criteria: - MBA from a Tier 1 B-School is mandatory. - 8+ years of relevant experience in hardcore operations, preferably in manufacturing, bags, apparel, fashion, footwear, or allied industries. - Strong hands-on experience in blue-collar workforce management is essential. - Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement/Vendor Management, Quality, Production Planning, and Delivery Management. - Strong understanding of cost optimization, productivity improvement, and operational excellence. - Comfortable with a field-intensive, on-ground role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership manufacturing environment.
