Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, some of your day to day includes: • Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks ); • Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes; • Liaise with employers, case managers, medical professionals, and insurers to provide clinical updates and ensure alignment of rehabilitation goals. • Work across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare & Department of Veteran's Affairs • Conduct comprehensive ADL assessments to evaluate an individual's functional abilities and support needs within the home and/or community to promote their independence. Make recommendations for equipment, home modifications, or support services based on assessment findings. • Prepare timely, high-quality reports outlining findings, recommendations, and clinical reasoning.
