About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant / Finance Coordinator to support our finance operations in Germany.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and external tax advisors, you will coordinate the preparation of German annual financial statements (Jahresabschluss), ensure compliance with German accounting regulations (HGB), and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

This role serves as a key point of contact between internal departments, auditors, and tax advisors, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on accounting experience, strong knowledge of German financial regulations, and is comfortable managing full accounting processes beyond bookkeeping. Duties and Responsibilities:

● Coordinate the preparation of German annual financial statements (Jahresabschluss) and support year-end closing activities.

● Ensure compliance with German accounting regulations (HGB) across all finance operations.

● Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors to support tax filings and audit processes.

● Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

● Support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities.

● Oversee accounting processes beyond bookkeeping, including reconciliations and financial controls.
