about the company Our client is a leading data centre organisation and we are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead both direct and indirect procurement. This individual contributor role will drive sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, cost optimisation, and procurement excellence to support business operations and growth. The successful candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure strategic sourcing, supply continuity, risk management, and value creation across the organisation. about the job • Category & Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive category procurement strategies to secure supply continuity and consistently meet cost-reduction targets. • Supplier Discovery & Market Intelligence: Conduct rigorous market research and vendor assessments to identify, evaluate, and onboard high-performing, reliable suppliers. • Performance Management: Establish regular supplier evaluation frameworks and KPIs to track deliverable, maintain quality, and drive continuous vendor improvement. • Cost Optimisation & Benchmarking: Perform in-depth cost analyses and establish financial benchmarks to uncover efficiencies and drive maximum value across spend categories. • Supply Chain Risk Mitigation: Design and implement proactive risk management protocols and contingency plans to prevent business disruptions during product shortages. • Contract Negotiation & Governance: Lead contract negotiations to secure competitive commercial terms, service levels, and full regulatory and organisational compliance. • Procurement Operations & Governance: Establish, refine, and enforce procurement standard operating procedures (SOPs), governance policies, and industry best practices. skills and experience required • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain management, or in engineering field. • 8-10 years of relevant working experience. • Knowledge of data centre operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
