We’re looking for a Senior Director of Design to lead the experience strategy for Reddit ’s Search & Feeds experiences.

Reporting to our Head of Design, you’ll lead a design team shaping how people find relevant conversations, discover communities, and build connections to the topics they care about. Your impact will extend across Reddit , connecting discovery to the experiences that turn initial interest into ongoing participation.

This role combines product vision, design leadership, and a high bar for craft.

You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science across Reddit to make discovery more useful, intuitive, and distinctly Reddit driving growth and retention by helping people connect with communities that matter to them. Define a cohesive experience strategy across search, feed experiences, recommendations, and community discovery, connecting near-term improvements to a longer-term vision. Lead and develop the team.

Coach design leaders and individual contributors, build clear ownership, and create an environment where people can do ambitious work and grow. Shape product direction.

Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities, establish priorities, and guide investment decisions grounded in user needs and business goals. Raise the bar for quality.
