Freelance Exhibition Project Managers

UAE & Saudi Arabia | freelance | immediate start – January 2027 placemaker is hiring on behalf of a leading exhibition and experiential business, and we're looking for experienced Exhibition Project Managers to join their freelance project teams.

this is an open call for multiple project opportunities , with an immediate start through to the end of January 2027. we're looking for people who know the exhibition world inside out, from taking a project through planning and production, to build-up, site execution, dismantling and final handover.

you'll need to be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, keeping projects moving under pressure, and getting into the detail when things don't quite go to plan.

the role manage exhibition projects from initial planning through to final handover work closely with clients, designers, technical teams, production teams, suppliers and subcontractors own project schedules, budgets, costing, procurement and cost control oversee production and fabrication from brief through to delivery review and coordinate technical drawings and project requirements manage build-up, installation, site execution, dismantling and handover keep projects on track, on budget and to the required quality standards manage stakeholders and troubleshoot issues across the project lifecycle act as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams coordinate multiple moving parts across production and site to ensure smooth delivery what we're looking for solid project management experience within the exhibitions industry experience delivering large-scale exhibition stands, pavilions and complex exhibition projects strong understanding of production, fabrication, technical coordination and site execution experience managing budgets, suppliers, subcontractors, production teams and site teams strong client and stakeholder management skills someone who is organised, hands-on and comfortable working under pressure someone who can solve problems quickly and keep things moving when challenges come up currently based in the UAE or Saudi Arabia available for an immediate start through to the end of January 2027 flexible and able to travel internationally as required by project needs the background we're particularly interested in people who have worked with established exhibition companies, exhibition contractors or experiential agencies and have experience delivering major exhibition projects.
