Production Planner | Manufacturing | East

Job Responsibilities Review production capacity and advise whether new orders can meet customers' required delivery dates. Work closely with the Production team to ensure production activities are carried out according to plan.

Adjust production schedules for any pull-ins or push-outs requested by the Project team or when production is unable to meet the planned schedule. Review and update production plans accordingly. Serve as the main point of contact between the Production and Project teams.

Maintain effective communication with the Production and Project teams to ensure a clear understanding of customers' needs and expectations. Review material readiness one week before production commencement. Work closely with the Expeditor to drive production output in accordance with the plan.

Develop contingency plans for any potential delays or situations where production falls behind schedule before updating the Project team. Officially notify the Project team in advance of any potential delays, providing supporting reasons.

Centralise planning information and data by maintaining the master planning list under the ownership of the Master Scheduler. Generate weekly GRN reports according to customer requirements.

Requirements

Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant experience in production planning, master scheduling, production coordination, or supply chain is preferred. Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, and material readiness.
