SAP FICO Consultant

Role Overview: - Understand business requirements and statutory/taxation requirements across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Taxation, Financial Reporting, Costing and Management Reporting. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to master data, transactions, configuration settings and ABAP objects. - Map business processes and implement changes arising from statutory requirements and Union Budget updates. - Provide SAP FICO support in accordance with agreed SLAs and ensure timely closure of tickets. - Prepare root cause analysis reports for critical issues and document change requests. - Support period-end and month-end closing activities. - Provide user training and functional guidance. - Develop functional specifications for RICEF objects and coordinate custom development, testing and delivery. - Support data migration, data uploads and authorization-related issues. - Coordinate with client teams and ensure timely resolution of functional issues. Essential Requirements: - SAP experience: 3 - 9 years. - Domain experience in Finance and Accounting: 2 - 5 years. - Experience in SAP FICO implementation and/or support projects. - Strong understanding of financial accounting, taxation and statutory compliance. - Ability to work with ticketing tools and maintain support documentation. - Willingness to join within 0 - 30 days. - Willingness to relocate to Dubai within 15 days, if required. - Flexibility to work across locations in India and abroad. Desirable Requirements: - SAP certification. - Experience in Real Estate, Construction or Infrastructure industries. - Exposure to GST implementation, HANA migration, rollout and onsite support projects. - Experience in 4 - 5 or more end-to-end SAP implementation projects. Technical Competencies: - SAP FICO configuration, troubleshooting and functional support. - Understanding of standard SAP processes and custom developments. - Preparation of functional specifications for RICEF changes and new developments. - Testing and delivery of functional solutions. - Support for data migration and master data uploads. - Analysis of authorization-related issues. - Period-end closing support and user training. - Experience in ticket-based support and root cause analysis documentation.
