The Role An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious FP&A Business Analyst to join the Group Finance team, working closely with an experienced Finance Business Partner and stakeholders across a range of corporate functions. This is a varied position combining financial planning, reporting, modelling and commercial analysis. You will play an important role in supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, providing meaningful financial insights and improving the systems and reporting tools used across the business. Key responsibilities will include: • Supporting annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and financial planning processes • Preparing financial analysis, management reporting and performance commentary • Developing and maintaining financial models to support scenario analysis and commercial decision-making • Working closely with Finance Business Partners to identify risks, opportunities and key performance drivers • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and analysis • Maintaining and improving financial models and reporting methodologies • Preparing executive reporting packs, presentations and financial dashboards • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality and financial processes • Supporting improvements in analytical tools, automation and business intelligence capabilities Your Profile You will be a commercially curious finance professional with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and a desire to develop your career within FP&A and business partnering. We are open to candidates already working in an FP&A or commercial finance environment, as well as those looking to make their first move from professional services. Ideally, you will bring: • CA/CPA qualification or progress towards completion • Experience in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting or forecasting • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability • An understanding of financial statements and business performance drivers • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving • An interest in systems, data analytics and process improvement • The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team Experience with Power BI, ERP systems or other financial planning and reporting platforms would be advantageous.
