QA Automation Engineer

QA JD- NYC-F2F for final round. Need Locals. • To work with large-scale databases such as Postgres, DB2 and SQL Server, proprietary and non-proprietary messaging software, a broad variety of vendor products, numerous financial exchanges and regulatory entities, and programming languages including .Net, Python, Java, Cobol, and VB. Net. • Responsible for the preparation and execution of QA Testing for projects that are sponsored by the Alternative Investments program development teams within Investments Solutions. • Work & lead QA team on various project deliverables which includes Business priority & Regulatory projects. • Responsible for develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance and control management strategy aligned with organizational risk management frameworks and business objectives. • Responsible for testing Functionality, System and Regression Testing coverage. • Lead the team in conducting thorough risk analysis, control issue detection, root cause analyses, and effective remediation. • Partner with Technology, Business & Operations to ensure alignment on risk and control priorities and initiatives. • Collaborate with Program Management teams to create comprehensive set of Use Cases and Test Cases as well as the full contingent of requirement project documentation during the life cycle of a project. • Work with Training and Communication personnel to ensure a smooth rollout to the field where applicable. • Review requirement specifications, identify gaps, and determine testability and testing implications. • Prepare test plans and test scripts to test each software component and requirements. • Participate in the test case Peer Review process and setup test conditions prior to script executions. • Execute test scripts and document the results in the Jira Project management & Issue tracking tool. • Log defects through lifecycle creation to resolution and work closely with business analysts, business subject matter experts and development teams to clarify and resolve testing issues. • Replicate issues, provide defect triage support and participate in test status meetings. • Manage resources and identify opportunities to leverage QA team members skillsets and develop them. Align them to perform test planning & test execution on Business priority deliverables. • Ensure systematic documentation and reporting of Quality Assurance testing outcomes and risk assessments. • Designs dashboards for Management reporting. • Manage stakeholder relationships effectively, leveraging strong communication skills to influence and drive control transformation projects.
