Assistant Manager – Accounts ( Pursuing CA)

: Role Summary Looking for a detail-oriented and responsible professional who has cleared CA Intermediate and is pursuing CA Final. The role involves managing and reviewing accounts for multiple clients, ensuring accurate financial records, handling bank and ledger reconciliations, supporting account finalisation, and assisting with taxation, audit and statutory compliance activities. The candidate should be able to manage multiple client assignments independently while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. KRA: Task / Activities • Manage and review books of accounts for multiple clients, including ledger scrutiny, journal entries, sales, purchases, receipts, payments and expense accounts. • Prepare and review Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS), bank reconciliations, customer/vendor reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations. • Review trial balances, identify discrepancies, prepare financial schedules and support account finalisation and financial reporting. • Support GST and TDS accounting, statutory compliance, tax audits, statutory audits and other audit-related activities. • Coordinate with clients for missing documents and clarifications, maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting assignments. KPI: Performance Metrics • Accuracy and completeness of accounting entries, ledger balances and client accounts. • Timely completion of BRS, bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation. • Accuracy of trial balance review, financial schedules and account finalisation. • Timely completion of GST, TDS and audit-related assignments. • Timely delivery of client assignments with proper documentation and resolution of accounting discrepancies. Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills : Required Skills • CA Intermediate cleared and actively pursuing CA Final. • Minimum 2 years of completed CA articleship. • Minimum 1 year of relevant post-articleship experience. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ledger scrutiny, trial balance review and account finalisation. • Hands-on proficiency in Tally Prime/Tally ERP and MS Excel. • Practical knowledge of BRS, bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation. • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational and communication skills. Preferred skills • Experience managing and reviewing accounts for multiple clients. • Experience in financial reporting, account finalisation and audit preparation. • Ability to identify accounting discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues. • Ability to coordinate professionally with clients and internal teams.
