In the future this position may have direct report(s). This is part-time position 3 days per week, based at St Leonards with hybrid working opportunities. How you’ll make an impact: • Ensure the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and end of year reports • Identify and act on improvements in current procedures to enhance efficiency and timely presentation of reports • Preparing regulatory reporting (eg. Government acquittals, ACFR) • Interrogation and analysis of financial results • Year-end financial and statutory reporting, encompassing aged care legislation, ACNC legislation, Australian Accounting standards and any other year end reporting • Budgeting, forecasting and benchmarking • Manage the processing of General Ledger journals, corporate allocations, reconciliation of operating system to General ledger, and Balance sheet reconciliations • Producing financial reports • Liaise with the Corporate Finance Team and the external and internal auditors to assist in the audit and review processes • Coordinate and manage annual Budget and Forecasting process, working with Business Managers and Accountants • Work closely with finance, operations, and other business units ensuring best possible client services. • Understand and apply Aged Care Regulations and Retirement Village legisation.
