Senior IT Business Analyst Finance ( SAP ECC/S4)

This position is based in Amsterdam, and you will be reporting to the Head of IT EMEA. In this role, you will lead and support technology-enabled improvements across Finance, with a focus on SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling. You will partner with Finance & Accounting, Business Process Owners, systems integrators, and Local and global technology teams to translate business needs into scalable SAP finance solutions as Jack Link’s advances its global S/4HANA ERP transformation from SAP ECC. The combined tasks and duties that must be performed to reach the results in a role successfully. • Own the analysis, design, and delivery of IT solutions and process improvements for Finance, including Record to Report and finance touchpoints across Procure to Pay and Order to Cash. • Translate stakeholder requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications and act as the liaison between IT and EMEA business teams. • Analyze, configure, and optimize SAP FI/CO solutions covering general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis. • Implement enhancements aligned with business goals, user requirements, internal controls, and the wider SAP S/4HANA landscape. • Partner with the systems integrator to define requirements, set expectations, and hold project and SI resources accountable for quality and timely delivery. • Guide integrations between SAP Finance, SD, MM, PP, banking interfaces, and other business-critical financial systems. • Oversee testing, defect management, status reporting, financial data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and SAP data migration activities. • Act as the escalation point for complex production issues affecting month-end and year-end close. • Monitor performance and user feedback, apply SAP best practices, propose improvements, and provide technical support and training to end users
