Senior Category Manager - Quick Commerce: Experience: 4 - 6 Years Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Category Manager to lead visibility and growth for the devotional product category across quick-commerce platforms. The role involves managing pricing, retail media campaigns, platform relationships, product listings, and category performance to drive sales, profitability, and market share. Key Responsibilities: - Develop category pricing and margin strategies across product segments to balance competitiveness, sales growth, and profitability. - Plan and optimise retail media campaigns and advertising across Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart. - Monitor advertising performance, including Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Advertising Cost of Sales (ACOS), to improve campaign efficiency. - Manage relationships with platform category managers and key account teams, including joint business plans and commercial negotiations. - Optimise product assortment, catalogue quality, listings, images, and SKU-level conversion. - Own category performance metrics, including P&L, Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), revenue growth, and market share. - Develop business-as-usual and festival-led visibility plans to improve product discovery and sales. - Analyse category trends, competitor pricing, private-label offerings, and SKU-level performance to identify growth opportunities. - Collaborate with operations and internal teams to improve listing quality and coordinate product availability. - Track performance against business targets and implement initiatives to improve visibility, conversion, and profitability. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 4 - 6 years of experience in category management, e-commerce, brand management, or online business growth. - Hands-on quick-commerce experience, preferably managing categories on Blinkit, Zepto, or Swiggy Instamart. - Strong understanding of pricing strategies, margins, category P&L, and commercial performance. - Experience managing retail media campaigns, platform advertising, and performance optimisation. - Ability to manage key platform relationships, commercial negotiations, and joint business plans. - Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and SKU-level sales and performance analysis. - Experience in assortment planning, catalogue management, merchandising, and conversion optimisation. - Strong stakeholder management and execution skills. Preferred Experience: - Experience in FMCG, D2C, or consumer product categories. - Exposure to festival-led campaigns and seasonal demand planning. - Understanding of Indian consumer behaviour and regional product preferences. - Experience launching or scaling a category on quick-commerce platforms. Key Success Metrics: - Improved product visibility and share of voice across platforms. - Higher SKU-level conversion and category sales. - Improved advertising efficiency and ROAS/ACOS performance. - Growth in category GMV and market share. - Improved catalogue quality and listing performance.
