Supply Chain Section Manager (West)

Responsibilities

Manage inventory control and support on-time delivery performance across the supply chain. Collaborate with production, sales, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient order fulfilment and inventory management.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to support a reliable supply chain network. Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and ISO requirements. Implement and maintain departmental buddy systems, cross-training initiatives, and knowledge-sharing programmes.

Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain processes, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. Analyse operational data, prepare performance reports, and recommend process improvements. Plan and manage daily operations and workforce deployment within the supply chain function.

Oversee workflow optimisation and performance improvement initiatives. Lead ad hoc projects and assignments as required. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, 5S standards, SOPs, and safe work procedures. Promote good housekeeping practices and operational excellence across the department.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Experience in regulatory compliance, including environmental, safety, and trade compliance requirements.

Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Hands-on experience in logistics operations, procurement, inventory management, and transportation processes.

Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management systems, logistics software, and related technologies.

Relevant certifications such as Hazardous Substance Management, Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is an added advantage. To Appl
