Key Responsibilities • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery. • Observe, assess, and document children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues. • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. • Ensure the classroom is well-organized, clean, and equipped with necessary learning materials. • Collaborate with other educators to develop and enhance the curriculum. • Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations. • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Requirements • Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a related field. • Proven experience working with young children (0-6 years). • Strong understanding of child development principles and play-based learning methodologies. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. • Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team. • First Aid and CPR certification is required. • Must be able to work full-time in **Durban, KwaZulu-Natal**. • A genuine passion for nurturing and educating young children.
