Job Opening: QA Automation Engineer (C#, Selenium & API) Job Title: QA Automation Engineer / Senior Test Automation Engineer Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (On-site / Hybrid) Experience Required: 3–6 Years Employment Type: Full-time Positions Available: 1 Resource Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in C# programming, framework design, and multi-platform test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and REST APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional development and QA teams to ensure high software quality, optimal test coverage, and efficient CI/CD integration. Key Responsibilities 1. Automation Framework Development & Maintenance • Design, build, and enhance scalable, robust test automation frameworks using C# (e.g., Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with SpecFlow/Cucumber). • Maintain and optimize existing automation suites to increase efficiency, reduce execution time, and minimize flaky tests. 2. Web, Mobile & API Automation • Execute end-to-end web application automation using Selenium WebDriver with C#. • Automate mobile applications (Android & iOS) using Appium framework. • Design, develop, and automate functional and non-functional REST API test scripts using tools/libraries such as RestSharp, Postman, or HttpClient. 3. Test Execution, Analysis & Reporting • Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for continuous testing. • Perform regular automated regression runs, analyze failure logs, and report defects accurately in tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to review user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Required Skills & Qualifications • Core Programming: Strong hands-on proficiency in C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts (Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation, Abstraction). • Test Automation Tools: Proven hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium . • API Testing: Demonstrated experience in automating RESTful APIs and validating JSON/XML responses. • Framework Design: Practical experience architecting or contributing to automation frameworks ( POM, BDD, Data-Driven ). • Defect & Test Management: Experience using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management. • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications (Plus) • Experience with SpecFlow (BDD framework for C#/.NET). • Exposure to version control systems like Git or Azure Repos . • Experience with CI/CD tool integration (Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins). • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
