About the Role Our client, a leading enterprise software solutions provider based in East London, Eastern Cape , is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer. This role is critical for designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable enterprise-level applications. You will work across the entire technology stack, from backend services and databases to frontend user interfaces. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot). • Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using Angular and associated technologies. • Work with databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) to design schemas and optimize queries. • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services. • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define requirements and deliver features. • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members. • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. • Contribute to architectural decisions and advocate for best practices in software development. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role. • Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC). • Extensive experience with frontend frameworks, specifically Angular (versions 2+). • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). • Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools. • Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. • Experience with unit testing (e.g., JUnit) and end-to-end testing frameworks. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
